This work provides fundamental understanding of Pt-K/MgAl2O4 based LNT catalyst, which would be a strong candidate for the application of high temperature. MgAl2O4 supports offer the enhanced NOx uptakes at higher temperature for K-based LNTs, attributed to the formation of more stable nitrate species.
