We demonstrate that ALD could be a promising tool for fabricating monodispersed catalysts, as well as post-modification of conventional catalysts to improve its performance in terms of activity, selectivity and thermal stability. Pd nanobowl catalyst provides an example of achieving sintering resistance and a control over shape-selective catalysis.
