OA22 Effect of Catalyst Configuration on the Partial Oxidation of Hydrocarbons: Graded Bed Approach

A graded catalyst bed was used in the catalytic partial oxidation of n-tetradecane to produce synthesis gas.  The amount of Rh needed to produce stable performance can be drastically reduced with this approach and by substituting less expensive active metals, like Ni and Ru, into pyrochlore materials.
