Kinetics of a Pt/Ba/Al based catalyst is investigated. A global kinetic model was developed together with a shrinking-core model was validated against both flow reactor experiments and spatially resolved measurements, Spaci MS. Generally, the model predicts and describes the storage and reduction mechanism well for both types of experiments.
