Optimum conditions for preparation and preliminary processing of the 9% Ni-Cu-Cr/2%Ce/(θ+α)-Al2O3 catalyst for selective production of synthesis-gas from methane were established. It was shown that Cu and Ni oxides are reduced by hydrogen, forming nano particles of Niî, Cuî, and their NiCu3,8 clusters.
