Particles of ZrO2 in nm size are deposited and anchored onto the MWCNTs via two different mechanisms achieved through different cooling processes. In addition to being good solid-acid catalyst useful in both fuel cell electrodes and biomass processing, the catalysts dispersible in the fuels would promote the fuel cracking reactions.
