Grafting CeO2 or ZrO2 (monolayer coverages of 25 to 100%) on Rh(1 wt.%)/Al2O3 catalysts resulted in the enhancement of DRM reaction-rate, as compared to Rh over pure supports. This improvement is mainly attributed to better dispersion, and in a lesser degree to H2-spillover, both evidenced in TPR-H2 profiles.
