With a novel approach, based on the simultaneous analysis of adsorbed (FTIR operando spectroscopy) and gas-phase species, the quantification of the different NOx adsorbed species could be obtained and new insights on the mechanisms involved in the storage of NOx over model Pt-Ba catalysts are given
