The synergy between small uniform intracrystal mesopores (2-6 nm) and MFI type zeolitic micropores (0.55 nm) in mesoporous ZSM-5 zeolites, leads to improved gas-oil cracking activity and simultaneous increase of gasoline, LCO (diesel) and LPG yields, compared to conventional microporous ZSM-5 zeolite.
