Mn promotion of Co/SiO2 enhances the activity of Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis and increases the yield of C2-C4 alkenes. Further increases in the yield of C2-C4 alkenes can be achieved by increasing the reaction temperature. C2-C4 alkenes can be oligomerized to gasoline and diesel products or converted into high-octane alcohols.
