We have designed a synthesis strategy to control the acid sites distribution in zeolite ferrierite. The distribution of bridging OH groups between the cavity and the 10-ring channels depends on the combination of SDAs employed in the synthesis. A good correlation between acid sites accessibility and catalytic activity has been found.
