This work describes the effects of common biomass inorganics on rhodium catalysts for catalytic gasification in short contact time reactors. This has been studied by two experimental designs-cofeeding and adding them directly to the catalyst. Reactor performance, catalyst characterization and regeneration were studied to understand interaction of inorganics with rhodium.
