PdNi/C catalysts prepared by a solution-phase reduction method show more negative onset potential to ethanol oxidation reaction (EOR), 3 magnitudes higher EOR exchange current density, and higher stabilized EOR mass activity than Pd/C in alkaline electrolyte, and can serve excellent anode catalysts for direct anion exchange membrane fuel cells.
