The advantages and disadvantages of desulfurization materials for  (both zeolitic and non-zeolitic) natural gas and LPG are compared. The influence of temperature, space velocity, start stop cycles and sulfur species is explored as a desulfurizer needs to be able to operate at a range of conditions with no loss in sulfur uptake.
