We studied the oxidative dehydration of glycerol to acrylic acid over vanadium-impregnated zeolite Beta. The results indicated that only the catalysts prepared by wet impregnation were selective to acrylic acid, in agreement with XPS analysis that revealed a better vanadium distribution inside the pores.
