An extended research on various supported Cu catalysts for the Ullmann C-O cross-coupling has been surveyed to substitute current Pd-catalysts whilst retaining activity. Titania and zinc-oxide based supports were developed, characterized and tested in batch, flow and microwave irradiated conditions.
