OF14 Catalytically Active and Recyclable Au Nanoparticles Supported on Pyrrolidone-modified SBA-15

Au nanoparticles with small sizes (2-3 nm) were effectively stabilized in the mesopores of poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone)-modified SBA-15. This catalyst showed high catalytic performance and good recyclability in aerobic oxidation of alcohols and olefins, which synergistically combine the advantages of both homogeneous catalysts with high activity and heterogeneous catalysts with good recyclability.
