Chemical-looping combustion is a combustion technology with inherent advantage for CO2 capture and a substantial reduction of NOx emissions from fossil fuel based power generation stations. In this work, LaCoO3 and LaMnO3 perovskites as oxygen carriers  have shown stable conversions over 10 redox cycles with negligible amount of  CO formation.
