ATR of diesel was tested for catalysts consisting of 1:1 wt% RhPt on alumina, ceria-zirconia, silica and titania. The ceria-zirconia catalysts were most active in terms of diesel conversion. One possible explanation to this high activity is the high accessibility of rhodium-oxides on the support as indicated by H2-TPR analyses.
