P-Tu-123 Performance and mechanism of catalytic oxidation of oxygenated volatile organic compounds over OMS-2 materials

The OMS-2 catalyst demonstrated good reactivity for ethanol oxidation. The partial oxidation of ethanol to acetaldehyde was on manganese cations acted as Lewis acid sites for ethanol adsorption and the lattice oxygen ions served as basic sites to drive the decomposition process.
