Scanning Transmission X-ray Microscopy (STXM), combining the high chemical speciation capability of X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) with the nanoscale spatial resolution of the STXM methodology has been used to study the influence of dealumination post-treatment on industrially relevant ZSM-5 zeolites.
