Pt metals deposited carbon Norit are effective catalysts for the production of H2 in the reforming of HCOOH. As regards the formation of CO-free H2 Ir/Norit is the best catalyst. At 383-423 K CO-free H2 is formed with high yields, which may be important for fuel cell application.
