OF53 Novel Synchrotron X-ray Measurements of Catalysts

Several new capabilities have been developed and applied to study UOP catalysts.  These include (i) new multi-sample reactor and detector system, (ii)  MiniXS (miniature x-ray emission spectroscopy) technique, and (iii) X-ray microtomography.  These new capabilities are used to better understand the workings of catalysts leading to new and improved materials.
