Oxide bronzes, which are highly conductive, are non-stoichiometric compounds that have formula of MxAOy, where x could vary between 0 and 1 depending on the formal oxidation state of A. The composite were prepared by infiltration into porous yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) and were studied under conditions relevant to SOFC anodes.
