We study the behavior of zeolite-supported rhodium catalysts with nearly uniform active sites that lends to precise control of the catalytic performance by tuning of the surface structures. To our knowledge, this is the first example of control of a supported catalyst at the molecular level to regulate catalyst selectivity.
