Combined SAXS (small angle x-ray scattering) and XAS (x-ray absorption spectroscopy) has been applied to study nano structured catalyst templates prepared by selective ALD (atomic layer deposition) and metal organic frameworks (MOFs) compounds which comprise a promising class of catalyst templates.
