P-Mo-46 Catalytic conversion of syngas into higher alcohols over carbide catalysts

Various catalysts based upon the bulk carbides Mo2C, WC and NbC have been evaluated with respect to the catalytic behavior in high-pressure CO hydrogenation. The stability of the catalysts has been investigated, and the effect of various promoters has been evaluated.
