OF01 Preparation of catalysts and high silica sample by borate fusion for ICP-OES analysis: method development and results

The determination of metals in high silica samples is difficult to perform because of the efforts required to obtain the complete dissolution of Si. A new technique was developed to avoid the use of HF and to obtain full dissolution of common catalyst substrates and an optimization of ICP-OES parameters.
