An Industrial Perspective on Selective Catalytic Transformations

The catalytic transformations of inexpensive feed-stocks to higher value chemicals will be addressed with regards to catalyst discovery, synthesis, characterization, process development and scale-up.  Advances in the oxidative coupling of methane, direct propylene epoxidation, and partial oxidation of methane to syngas will be reviewed with a perspective towards commercialization.
