P-Tu-B-46 Design and Synthesis of PMO-Based Materials Modified with Selected Transition Metals

Hybrid inorganic-organic mesoporous silicas of MCM-41 and SBA-15-type modified with Nb or Pt were synthesized using a simple hydrothermal method.  Attempts to the rational design and synthetic methods were performed in order to introduce judiciously chosen one or more functional group(s) on the surfaces of mesoporous silica materials.
