P-W-B-83 Investigation of Nano-Sized Ni/Al2O3 Catalysts Prepared By Microwave-Assisted Solution Combustion Synthesis for Slurry-Bed CO Methanation

The Ni/Al2O3 catalyst, prepared by microwave-assisted solution combustion using urea as fuel, posses the largest specific surface area, maximum metal Ni surface area and metal dispersion, smallest particles and more active Ni specices. The CO conversion and selectivity of CH4 over the catalyst is 95.7% and 96.2% at 300 °C.
