This research shows kinetically coupled reactions of glycerol (reforming and hydrodeoxygenation) in water in a continuous operation over Cu-based catalysts promoted and unpromoted by Pd and/or Na, we explored to what extent C–C and C–O bond cleavage play a role in the aqueous phase conversion of glycerol.
