Emerging Applications and Challenges Associated with Levulinic Acid Upgrading Strategies

Levulinic acid is a top value added bio-based chemical. This presentation will focus on established, as well as emerging technologies concerning the catalytic upgrading of LA via functionalization and de-functionalization pathways. We will highlight aspects of both catalyst and reactor design and the new opportunities they enable in LA upgrading.
