Zeolite was used to protect 1M LiPF6 electrolyte from water up to 200 ppm. The exposed electrolyte was able to cycle with a capacity up to 51 mAh/g. No other electrolyte stored over oxide was able to cycle. This is an advancement in improvement the water-resistance of lithum-ion cells.
