The operando-FTIR approach coupled with transient reactor enables a fundamental insight into a nature of adsorbed species and catalytic activity of Rh-based samples. The complementary information obtained on the surface species and gas phase composition allows elucidation of the reaction pathway including the formation of surface intermediates.
