The reduction efficiency of CO2 on copper is investigated by examining catalyst deposition techniques and electrodes substrates. It was observed that for the same current density the Cu/Ni flag electrode requires less voltage that Cu foil and Cu/Ti flag electrode.  Copper-based electrocatalysts can be prepared that will improveCO2 electroreduction.
