SCR reactors operating at NH3/NO close to 1, in combination with a stage of NH3 slip oxidation, represent a strategy to increase DeNOx performance. We study the impact of NH3-oxidation on SCR reactor; a kinetic investigation reveals that the reaction is unselective and may significantly contribute to NH3 consumption.
