P-Tu-B-174 Operando TEM By Quantification of Gaseous Reaction Products

A novel TEM sample preparation method was developed for operando TEM studies. Two techniques have been used to determine the gas composition inside the environmental TEM cell: electron energy-loss spectroscopy and residual gas analysis. Relative activity changes may now be directly correlated with images of catalyst structures.
