To examine the effect of titanium coordination in TiO₂ photocatalysts we have utilized SiO₂ as a support with which to tune the titanium coordination. Photocatalytic performance was evaluated with benzyl alcohol photo-oxidation by O₂ and results interpreted on a per-accessible-site-basis using a new titration technique.
