In this study the activity of Pd/Al2O3 doped with Pt and Ce was examined for methane oxidation. A kinetic study was performed and a model that describes the reverse hysteresis obtained in the presence of water has been developed. The model gives insights into the catalyst deactivation during methane oxidation.
