Insights into the Active Centers of Solid-State Ion Exchanged Cu-SSZ-13

We present a thorough characterization of Cu-SSZ-13 prepared by solid-state ion exchange, an approach not conventionally used for this system. We find that this method is highly suitable for the preparation of Cu-SSZ-13 leading to similar activity for NH₃-SCR and providing isolated Cu²⁺ species considered as active centers for this reaction.
