Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC) is used to study the electrostatic binding of platinum precursors at the solid-liquid interface of metal oxides.  ITC enables the enthalpy of adsorption, binding constant and stoichiometry to be measured in one experiment.  Thermodynamic characteristics of this adsorption should influence the final physicochemical properties of catalysts.
