Hyperpolarization NMR Methods for the Characterization of Isolated Lewis Acid Sites in Zeolites

This work demonstrates the use of dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) NMR for characterizing zeolites containing ∼2 wt % of natural abundance Sn without the need for ¹¹⁹Sn isotopic enrichment. The method allowed the characterization of natural-abundance ¹¹⁹Sn-Beta in <24 h where no signal was seen after 10 days without DNP.
