Deuterium enrichment has been shown in alkanes and still is a function of carbon number.  It is also confirmed that an inverse isotope effect is observed with ruthenium catalysts in FT.  Finally, the production of 2-alkenes is from a separate mechanistic pathway than 1-alkenes and has a primary isotope effect.
