We investigate the effect of the calcination temperature of the silica-stabilized alumina on the final properties of the supported iron Fischer-Tropsch catalyst. The results show that the rate of the catalyst increased by 260% when the only difference was that the support was calcined at 1200°C compared to 700°C.
