Development of electrocatalysts that are selective and stable for electrochemical hydrogenation (ECH) of furfural enables the production of biomass-derived fine chemicals and fuels reducing environmental impacts and operating costs as well as utilizes wastes from agriculture and food industries. We investigate the catalytic effects of electrodes on ECH of furfural.
