P-Tu-B-200 Conversion of Bio-Ethanol into Olefins and Synthesis-Gas

Addition of Ni and Ce has a positive effect on the activity of 3% Cu/Al2O3-ZSM-5 catalyst of dehydration of ethanol. The highest 93% yield of ethylene is observed on 3% Cu+1% Ce/Al2O3-ZSM-5 catalyst at 400°C and W - 3000 h-1. Yield of synthesis gas does not yet exceed 50-60%.
