Selective Oxidation and Hydrogenation of CO over Precious Metal Catalysts for Fuel Cell Applications

Low wieght percentages of Pt supported on reducible oxides such as TiO₂ and ZrO₂ by various synthesis methods generate materials with different metal dispersions and particle sizes. These affected the funtion of the catalysts by either increasing or decreasing its acivity for the oxidation and hydrogenation reactions of CO.
