The sintering kinetics of the Pd catalyst has been systematically investigated over Pd catalysts with various initial Pd particle sizes and catalyst mileages.  The sintering rate of the Pd catalyst significantly decreases with the increased initial Pd particle size, providing useful insight into the development of TWCs with improved thermal stability.
