P-W-B-14 Vapor-Assisted Crystallization Synthesis of Mesoporous (Ti) MIL-125 for Oxidative Desulfurization Applications

Hierarchical microporous/mesoporous (Ti) MIL-125 was synthesized using a vapor-assisted crystallization method. The hierarchical MIL-125 was examined as an active catalyst for the oxidation of dibenzothiophene with tert-butyl hydroperoxide and outperformed its microporous analogue, which was attributed to greater access of the substrate to surface active sites.
